Presets.
Save anything on your timeline once, then drop it into any edit.
What is a preset?
Whatever you select on your timeline, saved as one file: clips, adjustment layers, graphics, effects and sound, the media they use, and a preview of how it looks. Adding it puts it all back on your timeline in one go, exactly as you saved it.
Saving one
In the Seasoned panel, open My Presets (or a folder inside it). Select what you want in the preset on your timeline, type a name in the bar at the bottom of the panel and click Save preset. Its preview is made from that part of your timeline.
To choose what the preview shows, set your sequence’s In and Out points around it before saving. To give a transition its cut point, add a marker named “cut” where the cut should fall.
Before saving, right-click each clip on your video tracks and turn on Scale to Frame Size. Then the preset fits any sequence it’s added to, whatever its resolution.
Using one
Drag a preset onto your timeline, or select it and click Add to put it at the playhead. Effects that work in pixels follow your sequence’s size, so a preset made in 1080p looks the same in 4K.
Keeping them in folders
Your presets live in Documents → Seasoned Library → My Presets. Make folders there to keep them organised: right-click My Presets in the panel and choose Open in File Explorer. New folders show in the panel straight away, ready to save into.
Moving and sharing
Each preset is a single .seasonedpreset file with everything it needs inside, so you can move it, back it up or send it to someone. Put it in My Presets, or a folder inside it, and it shows up there. Presets only show in My Presets.
Premiere Pro versions
A preset can be used in the version of Premiere Pro it was saved in, or any newer one. One saved in a newer Premiere Pro than yours shows greyed out until you update.
